i've got so much wickedness and sin

so tonight is the night
i've been waiting for this show from feb/march was difficult but i was patient and tonight i am going to see Bat for Lashes at the at the music hall of williamsburg
Natasha Khan is kinda legendary to me, even as a newcomer on only her second album.
If you haven't already read the article about her new album, Two Suns, from FADER do it now please:

My favourite excerpt (i've entitled Glass:Interpreted; about my fav song by far on the album but honestly i really love them all a great deal at this point)

She invites the listener to float into the middle distance and picture a castle made of crystal where watchmen in the towers point to a glass knight whose heart burns bright as the sun. "Every time I get close, his heart vibrates, gets stronger and we get blinded by it," Khan says. "So I try and make him a cloak made of rainbow colors to refract the light so we can be close, but every time we do, the suns in our chests set fire to everything. In the end, the two suns burning so hotly creates a third thing, a perfect white diamond that flings into space and we become two planets constantly orbiting, basking in each others light, always separated, but there is that diamond that remains."

~From Natasha Khan of Bat for Lashes' interview in FADER magazine about her new album Two Suns. This is the story behind Glass, the first track from which the album title came. She is brilliant. I can't stop praising this album and her imagery and whimsical storytelling, i am a suck for beautiful lyrics and she gets its right EVERYTIME. Everyday a new song has been speaking to me, or one of old (weeks-long) loves evolves to mean something else entirely. i think natasha and i have been through some similar life experiences lately...hmm

ALSO just found this on youtube from the later show from britain...if this is even a fraction of tonight. i will be half dead at this show. watch the magnificence.

the first single: Daniel, in all its brillance as well. (for good measure and education purposes if you haven't heard the album yet...and i know Bat for Lashes is SO underrated, so sadly there is much doubt in my heart that you haven't heard it so, thus enjoy!)

this song breaks my heart. literally. le sigh.
