amidst the wettest spring in nyc
we rejoice at the opportunity to wear our trenches
i myself own too many for just one lady
but i still miss a spring when every day didn't make my hair frizzy
mist up my glasses as i walk about town
and make me damp all over every time i come in from outside
rain, rain go away
come again another day....
my summer wardrobe wants to come out to play.
