hi i am sleepy

but i have vowed to post something everyday...and i had a great day at work, so here are three purdy things...i like things in threes

i want this jacket, i didn't properly categorize this...i think it was Matthew Williamson. speaking of which, i need to check out his ENTIRE line for H&M, i want something from it, even though its pricey. so springy and colourful and funky fresh fun
and MORE lovely.....

i LOVE LOVE LOVE this dress (More threeeeees weee!) erin featherson and oh so flowy and i love the flowers, abstract but small enough for details, this will be so cute with gladiators (BUT not tacky high silver ones like i saw on this girl on 14th street this evening, TACKYYYYYYY and didn't even match her outfit, thus ruining a sweet little pink delicate sundress....but yeah) or nude pumps/heeled strappy sandals.....oh spring/summer come hither with your colour and wispy winds

and here's a cool inspiring pic i found on one of my massive google image searches, this was after i was invited to a beatnik party and needed inspiration for my outfit, i found some funky vintagey images...here's one.

i heart her outfit, the effortless audrey hepburn chicness of it all...and thats its like patio bar, with the suited handsome men behind her. i love the way she is sitting, so spring casual. inspiration for the next month for us all.....

buffalo pumps

so about a month ago...i went on a spending spree. most fashion girls dream, thus mine, but not so agreeable to my credit card debt, but agreeable to my credit card company. anyways enough about my lack of shopping self control and huge credit card bill due next week. ON TO THE BUYS....(this will be the first of a couple shopping posts to catalogue my new children)
so i splurge at buffalo exchange (the new-ish one in manhattan on east 11th (between 1st and 2nd)). they actually have great designer buys for STEALS-better than the williamsburg which my roommate&i frequent, the only problem with that is they aren't buying for high prices that your resale is worth. so with a small credit in hand, i mostly forked over NEW MONEY. but i got these babies......

Fall RTW 06 Donna Karan Collection Blood red leather/suede stacks pumps with gold mirror inlayed heel DIVINE! only $60
and

same DKCollection pony Leopard spectators with side cutouts and that same FABULOUS gold mirror heel (these are higher than the red ones) these were over $100, i have mentally blocked how much they exactly were and i'd like to leave it that way HAH

i am including some of the runaway look pics with the shoes...they are kinda inspiring.

i love that i am still mulling over fall and its so hot in ny, thus basically spring/summer already.

i think the leopard spectators will definitely come out in the spring with skinny jeans and tank or a cute little beige dress (like the runway look minus the tights...)

i already wore the red pumps with a divine black/white vintage number (with some sheerness at the top too ironically) to a family black tie wedding, and let me tell you. RED PUMPS make a night and any outfit MORE FUN! i'm just saying...

off the shoulder red hoodstooth, GENUIS! i need a little summer version to wear with the red minnie mousers soooooooon

those streets are a battlefield...

so summer is coming to a close and the country is falling into a money hole. what is the silver lining to this situation?
well SALES ON CUTE SUMMER SHOES! thats what.

and this is what i got for a steal...regularly $120...bought for disgustingly lower. Jeffrey Campbell CALI gladiator mini-cone heels (very new Marc). Comfy, cute, well-made, cheap price, the black colour gives them a deliciously dominatrix feel too. My plan is to wear them as much as possible until the weather turns...then rock em with tights and thick knitted high socks into Fall and maybe Winter (if Mother Nature continues to decline, giving us another forgiving almost snow-free one this year). i was surveying jeffrey campbell's wide range of amazingness online this morning, his site is funky...and found my shoes...in gold/silver.wow.
such a fun way to combine the metallic trend mr. campbell. kudos!

adorable! and i thought i was sick of gladiators, and he reinvented them. impressive sir.

i went shopping!

bought these Marc Fisher Brown leather booties yesterday. i am so in love, i got them at a vintage store (Vice Versa on Bedford) so they were worn once or twice (which REALLY makes them all the more endearing and hotter). i love the heel, the shape, the texture, the richness of the colour and the way they look with my zippered side skinny jeans. don't you love it when you buy something and it feel soo right...
